Venture Capital Fund
We manage Capritaur I Venture Fund, which invests globally in early-stage, high-growth companies that are AI-native or meaningfully powered by artificial intelligence. The Fund targets companies where AI is fundamental to the product, operating model, or competitive advantage—not merely an incremental feature—and where proprietary technology, data, domain expertise, or workflow integration creates defensible value.
The Fund will primarily invest from Seed to Series A, with selective investments at Pre-Seed and Series B, across sectors including enterprise software, financial services, healthcare, industrials, mobility and logistics, cybersecurity, commerce, and climate technology. Areas of particular interest include:
- Enterprise AI applications and intelligent workflow automation
- AI agents and vertical AI solutions
- Data infrastructure, knowledge graphs, semantic technologies, and AI tooling
- Cybersecurity, governance, compliance, and trustworthy AI
- AI-enabled fintech, mobility, industrial, and healthtech solutions
- Enabling technologies supporting the development, deployment, and adoption of AI
We back founders with strong technical or domain expertise, a clear understanding of customer pain points, evidence of product-market validation, and the ambition to build globally scalable businesses. The Fund prioritises companies with recurring or highly scalable revenue models, credible paths to commercialisation, strong capital efficiency, and the potential to establish durable competitive moats.
While investing globally, the Fund will leverage Capritaur’s networks and operating presence across Asia to support portfolio companies with market entry, enterprise partnerships, fundraising, strategic transactions, and access to regional customers and investors.
Venture Debt Fund
We manage Capritaur I Venture Debt Fund, which provides flexible debt capital to high-growth mid-stage companies globally that are typically backed by Venture Capital. Unlike equity fundraising, where companies raise capital through equity-only rounds, venture debt allows companies to access an additional source of capital while minimizing ownership dilution to existing shareholders.
Key Features of Venture Debt
Venture debt is usually offered alongside or after a round of equity financing, leveraging the company’s growth potential and the confidence shown by venture capitalists. It is not typically used as a replacement for equity funding but rather as a supplement. Our ticket size typically ranges from US$3 million to US$5 million per investment, and up to 30% of the recent equity round.
• Leveraged / M&A Financing
Interest rate typically ranges between 10% to 15% per annum. To compensate for the higher risk, lenders often require warrants (options to purchase equity at a pre-determined price) in addition to charging interest. This provides the lender with an equity upside on its investment in the event of a successful exit (eg. IPO or trade sale/m&a).
Venture debt typically includes principal repayment over a specified period, with interest charged on the borrowed amount. The repayment terms are usually shorter than traditional loans, often between 1 to 3 years.
